Your first day in Shkodra on an e-bike
How to get here, where to pick up the bike and what to do with the first afternoon — a practical plan for arriving without a car.
Most people arrive in Shkodra by bus, and that is the easy way to do it. You do not need a car here, and for the first day you do not want one.
Getting here
Buses run from Tirana through the day and take around two hours. From the Montenegrin border at Hani i Hotit it is under an hour. Both drop you within reach of the centre.
Picking up the bike
Our pick-up point is in the centre. Book the bike for the day you arrive and we will have it charged, adjusted to your height and ready with a helmet and lock. If you would rather not carry your bags across town, choose hotel delivery instead.
The first afternoon
Ride out along the lake toward Shirokë. It is flat, it is fifteen kilometres, and the fish restaurants at the end are the reason to go. Come back as the light drops behind the far shore.
What to bring
Sunglasses and water. The charger stays with us unless you are riding multi-day — one charge is more than a day's riding at normal pace.
